Twin Pines Students Graduate SCPD GREAT Program
Students at Twin Pines Elementary School were treated to an assembly on Friday courtesy of the Suffolk County Sheriff's Department. The assembly was the culmination of the students graduating the department's GREAT (Gang Resistance Education and Training) program.
Suffolk County Sheriff Errol D. Toulon, Jr. was on hand to praise the students for their commitment over the past few weeks to the cause. The students also saw a presentation from the K-9 Unit and police dog Grady, who demonstrated the work of K-9 dogs in the police unit.
The students received certificates for achieving completion of the program.
