Twin Pines Signs and Sings at Spring Concert
The spring concert at Twin Pines Elementary School on Apr. 5 featured multiple groups performing the sounds of the season.
First, the ukulele group performed a rendition of Bob Marley and The Wailers' hit "Three Little Birds." Next was a quintet of fifth-grade students on the recorder who performed "Going Home" and "Linus & Lucy" with the fourth-grade recorder group staging "Song of the Sea" and "Ode to Joy" afterwards.
The chorus closed out the show with six numbers, including a stirring rendition of "How Far I'll Go" from Disney's Moana. This included several students performing the song with the use of American Sign Language (ASL) for the showcase.
