STEAM to 100 at Twin Pines on 100th Day of School!
Donning special 100th day t-shirts, Mrs. Sacco's second-grade class at Twin Pines Elementary School dedicated class time on Feb. 15 to STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) projects surrounding the festivities of the 100th day of school.
The students took part in skip counting exercises, building a tower of 100 cups, creating arrays of hearts, and building three-dimensional cubes out of marshmallows and toothpicks.
The class worked in small groups to complete the assignments of varying degrees of difficulty.
