History's Great Figures Come to Life at Twin Pines Wax Museum!

The gymnasium at Twin Pines became an interactive exhibit of Black history and women's history in the school's interactive wax museum on Mar. 8.

Students staged biographical information on trifolds in the gym with presentations triggered at the "press" of a button on each table. Pressing this button brought the historical figures to life---from Black history icons Martin Luther and Coretta Scott King, Jackie Robinson and Henry "Box" Brown---to Women's History icons Althea Gibson, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.

Each historical figure told pieces of their stories as fellow students roamed the museum with parents partaking as visitors to the exhibit in the evening.
